As a porter at the Regina General Hospital I transported patients to and from their tests, went to health records, took specimen's to the lab , transported linen, delivered supplies, respectfully transported deceased patients to the morgue and education courses assigned by the Sask Health Authority.
I worked twice in the Portering during my time with the Sask Health Authority from 1999-2025.
In Nutrition and Food I started out working in the bake shop area, assisting the cook with baking, then I moved to tray line where I assembled and delivered patient food trays. I also worked in the Starbucks and the Heartbeat Cafe that the hospital ran for many years.
