During my time at Valeo, I had the possibility to move forward in the Supplier Quality department, so currently, I am handling projects with Valeo's supplier. My suppliers mostly produce plastic parts for Valeo. I am managing the validation process with the suppliers, making process audits at their site, and having daily communication with them about the open topics, claims from Vaeo, and change requests.
In this position, I need to have a deeper investigation if we have a blocking point during the project. I have to work with more departments, like Purchasing and the Customer Quality Team, so we can validate the new molding tools on time for our customers.
During my time as a Serial SQA Engineer, I was responsible for the quality of the raw materials on our key production lines. I was handling claims to our suppliers and managing the sorting activities for the actual stock at Valeo's warehouse, the analysis process with the supplier on-site, and online. Valeo has suppliers worldwide, so the communication was mostly in English. While I worked in this position, I learned to handle many topics parallelly. We usually opened 5-6 claims to our suppliers per week, which caused several meetings and calls during the week.
