Lenovo, Member of Lenovo services senior leadership team reporting directly to EMEA VP services managing EMEA wide transformation of spare parts logistics, warehousing, whole unit logistics and centralized repair after sales infrastructure with full budget spending responsibility for up to 30 millions EUR a year.


This complex project includes following responsibilities and deliverables:

+ Led selection, integration and performance management of supply chain vendor partners responsible for centralized repair and logistics located in Czech republic, Poland, Germany, United Kingdom with yearly capacity up to half a million of units transported and repaired with yearly spending well above 10 million EUR for labor and logistics and up to 20 million EUR in spare parts

+ Hired, developed and lead team of 3 senior logistics, 3 senior repair managers, together with another 3 more junior specialists from different countries managing directly over 300 technicians in within the partner network

+ Directed contract negotiation and renegotiation of all business arrangements, process definitions, performance KPI's (25+ KPIs), liabilities, reporting requirements, contingencies and termination clauses for supply chain and logistic elements defining operational level for key Western and Easter Europe market

+ Delivered significantly improved end consumer, retailer and commercial segments experience for over 1 million customers during years 2017, 2018 and 2019 and that in form of faster turnaround times, improved repair quality and visibility to actual product user and customer

+ Influenced directly over 1 and 1/2 million in US dollar savings, as result of process and business model optimizations, strategic sourcing and negotiation, removing inefficient consolidation points, simplifying network and reducing spare parts spending

Personally contributed directly to significant growth and success in Slovakia and CEE.


During this period was responsible for and delivered:

+ Led team of 10 finance specialists including 2 senior finance managers and indirectly managed another 5 FTE at shared service center in Barcelona defining end to end back-office accounting and reporting process

+ Directly designed and developed several internal process and procedures in area of reporting, controlling, internal audit and compliance including detailed down to customer profitability reporting being crucial for further decision making, profitability improvements, price setting; finally delivering 20% plus margin from overall supply chain solution

+ Managed to identify saving opportunities in operations and transportation process worth close to 3 millions EUR in years 2009 to 2012
