I am a hard working energetic person with a well rounded background with over 20 years experience as a journeyman heavy-duty mechanic. I have an excellent safety record and work well in a team environment or on individual tasks.

Also part of my tasks included troubleshooting breakdowns including electrical, hydraulic as well as driveline issues. My duties also included troubleshooting and correcting customer concerns and performing warranty repairs and reports. This equipment Caterpillar and Mercedes engines and familiar with computer diagnostics on both.
In this position my duties included performing maintenance on all types of Komatsu equipment, as well as repairs in the shop and at customers locations. My duties included ordering parts, maintaining paperwork for billing as well as warranty workorders. While employed with Halliburton my duties included scheduled maintenance and repairs of equipment used for fracking, including industrial equipment and highway tractors and trailers. I was responsible for repairs both in a shop environment as part of a team, also following the equipment to the field sites to ensure maximum equipment reliability. While I would have to work alone and coordinate repairs with the onsite supervisor as well as looking after sourcing my parts required to maintain the equipment, also filling in at the shop for the foreman when he was away. At this position I maintained an excellent safety as well as driving record as this position included travel all of western Canada and the U.S.
While employed with Toromont I successfully completed a heavy duty apprenticeship program, becoming a journeyman heavy duty mechanic. I started as a shop technician learning the skills I needed to develop as a heavy duty technician from minor repair to major overhauls then I eventually transferred to a field service technician working with customers to meet their needs both in maintenance and repairs of various equipment, including material handling equipment like forklifts and telehandlers. Also part of my job included repairs on manlifts and scissor lifts. This position helped me develop strong customer skills. I started in Winnipeg and worked in various roles then transferred to Brandon the branch and work well in a team environment or alone with little supervision.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing ,hunting, golfing and camping.
